I am a Co-founder at the National Student Network (NSN), an organization that started as a passion project during my MSc graduate studies at the University of Alberta. I have since completed my PhD in Experimental Medicine at McGill University and now, the NSN has grown to provide over 2500 youths across Canada - a platform to learn and share experiences as we journey through our academic and professional careers. NSN LEADS program is a unique and engaging opportunity to meet people, share lessons learned, all while working towards achieving your professional goals! We look forward to meeting you!

I'm a Co-founder at the National Student Network and am excited to work with the third cohort of the LEADS program! Since high school, I’ve been conducting research, initially in electrical stimulation of muscles for stroke rehab, and now, looking at how we can apply nanotechnology to harness the immune system for cancer treatment through my PhD at the University of Toronto. Along the way, I’ve received amazing mentorship, which has enabled me to receive ~$300 000 in scholarships including the prestigious Vanier scholarship, publish in some top journals in science, and more importantly, accelerate my personal and professional growth. To pay it forward, I’m an advocate for education and STEM initiatives and am excited to share the lessons I've learned along my journey with our LEADS participants. In my spare time, I enjoy running my scientific illustrations business, running, learning about investing, and cooking.

I’m a webmaster and developer for the National Student Network. I currently study software engineering at Uniasselvi . Currently working for a Brazilian multinational company as a Back-End developer, I joined the National Student Network team and contribute my knowledge in Javascript, Typescript, NodeJs, React, Html, Css and Git. It has been an incredible experience to be part of this project! My goal is to create a beautiful online platform so we can empower youth across Canada.
