Why You Should Choose Carleton University: Vibrant Student Life

Carleton University’s vibrant student life offered me multiple opportunities for personal development. In addition to having a diverse student population and an active student union, the school has a Student Office that focuses solely on the enrichment of the student life on campus. The sense of community is always high at Carleton. Through frequent collaborations between different student organizations and school departments, students are presented with many opportunities to participate in projects that bring different cultures, various disciplines and communities closer. Through these projects, there is promotion of tolerance and a sense of community on Carleton’s campus and in Ottawa.

Furthermore, the school’s extensive community and industry partners provide you with access to internships, co-op placements, international exchange and practicums. These work experiences will give you leverage on the job market.

With a low student to instructor ratio, students are encourage to foster relationships with professors, many of whom are leaders in their respective fields.

I am very pleased with my experience at Carleton University and I owe many of my successes to the people I met at Carleton!
