I am currently completing my fifth and final year of studies at the University of Alberta, pursuing a combined Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degree (Drama maj, English Education min). After my undergraduate studies, I will be auditioning for a position in a Master's Program in Acting in theatre schools within the United States and abroad.
Throughout junior and senior high, I had always believed I wanted to pursue an occupation in the science field-- whether in medicine, pharmacy, or kinesiology. Within my graduating year of high school, I had come to realize that my passion in life was not in the sciences but in fact, in the fine arts, specifically theatre and film. This realization has brought me to recognize the importance of being passionate and driven in your future field of study.

Outside of school, I volunteer with various organizations including the Steadward Centre (Bears paraswim team) at the University of Alberta and the Institute for Stuttering Treatment and Research (ISTAR). I am also greatly involved in the world of competitive swimming – after competing for 8 years, I coached with the Edmonton Keyano Swim Club, leading a provincial-qualifying level of swimmers, and am currently working with the North Edmonton Swim Club. Aside from swimming, I also enjoy running (completed my first half marathon in 2016!), yoga, binge-watching new series on Netflix and trying new recipes from Chrissy Teigen’s cookbook.
